| Ken had a new SLR camera and spent hours photographing everything he saw that day. He used his computer to turn the images that he had captured into cards for some family members as so many people do. What he didn't expect was how his cards would be received.
Family members and friends who had seen the cards started calling asking if they could buy some for their friends, and their friends' friends. That was the beginning of KCards of California. |

Carol was often frustrated trying to write on other commercial cards that use cheap or glossy paper. For this reason, Ken and Carol selected a high quality paper for KCards that would enable people to write a message using any type of writing instrument. |

| Today-- better cameras, better lenses, better photo software, more patience, more experimenting, more travel, a keener eye, and much appreciated artistic suggestions have resulted in a beautiful card selection.
